Application:

Preparation for Builder Gel Application 1. Gently push back proximal nail fold with cuticle pusher 2. Remove exposed cuticle from nail plate 3. Remove shine from natural nail plate using 180 grit emerald file 4. Remove all filing dust from nail plate using a dry nail towel 5. Apply Dehydrate to clean nail plate Formed Nail Application 1. Apply ibd Powerbond to nail plate avoiding contact with surrounding skin 2. Apply ibd forms 3. Using builder gel, form a thin extension covering 1/3 of nail plate to desired free edge length Allow to quick cure for 10 seconds 4. Apply a thin layer of builder gel to entire nail surface, DO NOT CURE Thread a bead down the center of nail and allow it to smooth itself out. Quick cure for 10 seconds 5. Repeat step 4 on all remaining nails and cure for 30 seconds if using LED lamp or 1 minute if using UV lamp. 6. Remove nail forms and remove inhibition layer from nails using Cleanser Plus and a nail towel. 7. File and shape nails using a 180 grit emerald file. Remove any dust using a clean, dry nail towel. 8. Finally, apply Building Gel Top Coat to nails and cure for 30 seconds in LED lamp or 2 minutes in UV lamp. 9. Cleanse with Cleanser Plus and moisturize skin with ibd Lavender Cuticle Oil. *For natural nail finishes, use the above steps except steps 2 and 3.
